Recently, flet.dev (a Python GUI toolkit which more-or-less makes the Dart UI Flutter available to Python) reached the 1.0 milestone.

Using it, I was able to make an app/web page which affords a simple set of parameters:
- Box width
- Box depth
- Box height
- Stock thickness
- Lid type (sliding or none)
- Cutout tool diameter
This is now available at:
https://studio.flet.dev/run/bicQWc3Aul

and may be used so as to create and download a DXF file:

which when imported into a Carbide Create template:

and the parts adjusted for stock/position:

may be cut out:

and once the parts are post-processed/cleaned-up/fettled, made into a box:

This is currently being viewed as a proof-of-concept because the flet.dev app/code is stand-alone and the preview lacks verisimilitude. It is expected that re-factoring and re-working the code will allow integration into the implementation:
https://github.com/WillAdams/gcodepreview
with an improved wireframe preview being accessible in PythonSCAD in addition to the 3D preview:
